Chamber to Unveil Past-President’s Legacy Plaque

The North Port Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes and understands that the Chamber is only as strong as its membership and leadership. As in any Chamber of Commerce, the success of the Chamber is driven by the leadership of their Board of Directors which is comprised of Chamber members selected by the Chamber membership. Each year, the Board of Directors select an individual on the Board to serve as President of the Chamber of Commerce. It is the responsibility of the President to establish the goals and priorities of the Chamber for that year and to continue the growth and prosperity of the Chamber. Since the inception of the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber has continued to grow, address and meet the needs of the business community under the guidance and leadership of the various Board of Directors Presidents that have led the Chamber.
