SUMMARY:CANCELED - Lunch & Learn Workshop - October 6\, 2022
DESCRIPTION:CANCELED\n\n\n\nJoin the FUN of Speed Networking!\n\n\n\nPeople buy from people they ?know\, like and trust?. What do people know about you and your business? Are you ?likable? and ?trustworthy?? Speed Networking showcases you and your business. \n\nTake time to prepare a 40-second ?Elevator Speech? that will have people interested in learning more about you and your business. Begin by identifying a problem or a need. Briefly explain how your product or service can solve that situation. Introduce yourself and the name of your business. Provide a ?memorable? close or ?call to action? at the end of your Elevator Speech. (Example: ?Do you have glossophobia? The fear of public speaking? Toastmasters has the answer. At every meeting\, you have an opportunity to speak\, surrounded by supportive individuals. I?m Gale West\, VP Education for North Port Toastmasters. Join our Monday night meeting and become a better\, more confident speaker.?)\n\n\n\nBring 30-40 business cards (or other marketing materials about you and your business) to this Lunch & Learn workshop. Bring a notepad and a pen to record information about the people you meet while networking. It will help you determine who you want to connect with after the workshop\, if you can help this individual or if they can help your business. Prepare 3-4 questions to ask during your networking session that would enable you to learn more about your networking partner. This provides insight into areas you want to learn more about during a future 30-60 minute ?1 to 1? meeting. Show a genuine interest in the other person. Ask .. ?How can I be of service to you?? ?Who is your ideal client?? \n\nShow a genuine interest in the other person. When you cultivate relationships\, you enhance your business success.\n\n\n\nNorth Port Small Business Lunch and Learn workshops are presented by the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of North Port\, Suncoast Technical College\, and Toastmasters International of North Port.\n\n\n\nLunch will be provided at no charges\, thanks to our workshop sponsor Ball Law Firm.\n\n\n\nSeating is limited\, please register in advance.\n\n\n\nNext Date: November 10.\n\n\n\nSponsors are: Ball Law Firm\, Buffalo Wings & Rings\, Christian Brothers Automotive\, City of North Port\,\, Gale West-Your Health Consultant\, Lightspeed Voice\, Namack Portfolio Investment Professionals\, LLC\, Cetera Advisor Networks LLC\, Mary E.
