DESCRIPTION:Promoting Your Business\n\n \n\nThe North Port Area Chamber of Commerce Lunch and Learn is returning to live\, face to face workshops. Because of the CDC recommendations for "social distancing"\, we can only allow 40 folks to attend.\n\n \n\nYou promote your business by getting the word out\, and you must do this consciously. You should spend at least an hour a day promoting or planning how to promote your business. Carole Holden of Gelmtree Advertising will show us how to make the best use of that time.  While promotion is a budgeted activity it does not have to be expensive. Learn inexpensive ways to promote your business.\n\n \n\nThe workshop will be held on Thursday\, August 13th from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at Olde World Restaurant\, 14415 Tamiami Trail\, North Port\, 34287.\n\n \n\nNorth Port Small Business Lunch and Learn workshops are presented by the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of North Port and Toastmasters International of North Port.\n\n \n\nLunch will be provided at no charge thanks to our workshop sponsor Rothco Signs and Design.\n\n \n\nThe next workshop\, "Technology for Small Businesses" will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday\, September 10th.\n\n \n\nYou must register for the workshop in advance.  No walk-ups.
