Day for Kids 2023

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties is pleased to announce the 15^th Annual Day for Kids event, will be held at our Robert and Joan Lee Boys & Girls Club, located at 920 Gulf Coast Blvd in Venice on Saturday, September 16^th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each year, this event is typically held at our Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club in North Port, however Hurricane Ian had a devastating effect in that community and we are working to rebuild that Club. We have exciting plans to host Day for Kids at both Club locations in 2024! This is a very well-established community event, with over 700 young people and their families attending for FREE every year. All proceeds will go directly to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs and our Club members that need us the most.
 
One Day Can Change A Child’s Future. Day for Kids is a nationally recognized event that is a celebration, of kids for kids. Our community and families come together to focus on the importance of positive and caring adults spending meaningful time with youth, which is one of the most basic needs in a child’s healthy development. In keeping with our annual tradition, this is a FREE fun-filled day for our youth, that includes the support of the entire community.
