Leadership North Port - Government and Economic Development Day

Government & Economic Development Day is designed to focus on the City of North Port. In partnership with various government entities, this Day explores various aspects of government leadership in the North Port community by providing an all-day experience in the business of running a city from an operational standpoint.

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes for the day as they tour various facilities such as City Hall, Police Department, Fire Station, the Morgan Center, the water treatment plant, etc. Leaders also benefit from having the opportunity of meeting their elected officials, city and county executive leaders, and other government leaders in a small group setting.
