The Arts play an important role in any growing region. Many people research the available arts and culture of a community before they decide to move to a city or geographic area. This event is a time for the leaders of North Port to gain exposure to the services and amenities that are already available to area residents.

Class participants learn how they can position our community for cultivating this sector even further by connecting with the North Port Art Center, the Symphony, the Performing Arts Center, the Chorale, and many other cultural organizations.

Manufacturing
The City of North Port has been blessed with a consistently stable and growing manufacturing and light industrial sector, coupled with overall thriving commerce and a healthy economy. This Day is designed to give North Port’s leaders an inside look as to how and why the City of North Port is growing, and why it is important for the community as a whole, to support all future efforts to continue the forward momentum. If North Port is to continue its march to become an economic engine for the metro area, the community and its leaders need to understand the dynamics of manufacturing and light industrial growth for the North Port area.
