Calling All Non-Profit Chamber Members & Their Board Members!
This Chamber has a great respect for our non-profit community and what each and every one of them do within our community. We also hear how the last few years have added additional issues for them to handle and, in some cases, to survive.
Our local nonprofit leaders always strive to advance their missions and accelerate social impact. They also benefit from exchanging expertise, networking, and professional development. To that end, a new network dedicated to nonprofit leaders, directors, and executive board members is being introduced to our local nonprofits, where they’ll be able to gain powerful insight and ideas to bring their visions to life.
To learn more, please plan to attend an informational meeting about the Nonprofit Leaders Collaborative onTuesday, August 31st from 8:30 am – 9:30 am at the Olde World Restaurant in North Port.
The meeting is free to attend and will be a full introduction to highlight how non-profits can gain much needed insight to allow them to prosper. Continental Breakfast will be provided thanks to our sponsor,Lightspeed Voice. The Collaborative was founded by chamber member, Joanne Cumiskey of Vision Quest Leadership LLC in response to her work with nonprofits and unmet needs. Please refer to the attached flyer for more information. The North Port Area Chamber of Commerce sees this as an invaluable tool to help a key market sector of our program of work. It also allows non-profits Executives along with a member of their Executive Board to gain very valuable information that can bring empowerment to their work.
