Michele Moore, co-owner of Bone Boutique and Images of Therapy, is an award-winning artist & advocate for "Wearable Conservation." This North Port local transformed a crafting hobby into a thriving full-time art business. Inspired by fossil hunting with her husband Phillip, Michele ethically sources animal bones through community call-ins of roadkill (which she still picks up), local farm donations, and from animals harvested for food. She masterfully turns these unique materials into exquisite, award-winning jewelry & sculptures. Her vision honors nature's artistry & champions sustainability. A consistent "Best of North Port" recipient for the past three years, Michele was also honored as the 2023 Rookie of the Year by the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce. Each piece reflects her deep love for art & community, embodying an "Award of the People" spirit & a journey where Passion Meets Purpose.
