HVAC/R Instructor NEEDED at Suncoast Technical College

Suncoast Technical College- HVAC Instructor
STARTING PAY: $60,000 per year plus credit for years experience & Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision)  
JOB HOURS: 7:30AM-3:00PM for 10 months of the year, other 2 months are off! We follow the Sarasota County School Calendar, so all the holidays you typically want to be off work for, you will be off.  Typically, there are 6 sick days to use during the school year as well. (you are off for the months of June and July)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of verifiable in-field HVAC experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and theory.
• Strong communication skills

• Develop and deliver curriculum for HVAC/R technology courses.
• Mentor and instruct students in a hands-on lab environment.
• Prepare students for industry certifications (e.g., EPA 608).
