Michele Moore, co-owner of Bone Boutique and Images of Therapy, is an award-winning artist & advocate for "Wearable Conservation." This North Port local transformed a crafting hobby into a thriving full-time art business. Inspired by fossil hunting with her husband Phillip, Michele ethically sources animal bones through community call-ins of roadkill (which she still picks up), local farm donations, and from animals harvested for food. She masterfully turns these unique materials into exquisite, award-winning jewelry & sculptures. Her vision honors nature's artistry & champions sustainability. A consistent "Best of North Port" recipient for the past three years, Michele was also honored as the 2023 Rookie of the Year by the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce.
