• North Port Paint Posse to Host Inaugural ''Parks & Palm Trees'' Art Reception, Celebrating Local Art and Community

    NORTH PORT, FL – July 31, 2025 – The North Port Paint Posse is thrilled to announce its first-ever art exhibition , showcasing the "Parks & Palm Trees" series, a vibrant collection of artwork celebrating the natural beauty and diverse landscapes of North Port. 

    The community is invited to immerse themselves in local art and celebrate creativity at the opening reception .on Friday, September 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at Lolablue Living, located at 2525 BOBCAT VILLAGE CT RD, in North Port.

    The "Parks & Palm Trees" series is a testament to the North Port Paint Posse's dedicated journey to explore and paint 25 of North Port's unique parks, capturing the soul of the city’s natural landscape, one brushstroke at a time. The exhibit features works from talented local artists including Carroll Stone, Colleen Hibbits, Lisa Gallucci, Evie Alexander, Phillip Moore, and Michele Moore.

    The artwork for the show was thoughtfully curated by a member of the Liberal Arts faculty  at Ringling College of Art and Design, who is also a 5th generation Floridian and a proud North Port resident.

    "We are incredibly excited to bring this collection to the community," says Michele Moore, co-owner of Images of Therapy and Bone Boutique, and the organizer for the North Port Paint Posse. "This reception is a celebration of our members' dedication and the beautiful inspiration North Port offers. It's truly amazing to see how our passion for art has brought so many together and contributed to our city's cultural tapestry."

    The event promises an engaging experience, offering attendees the chance to mingle with the artists, discover unique local artwork, and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

    The North Port Paint Posse is an initiative deeply connected to Images of Therapy, co-owned by Michele and Phillip S. Moore, a veteran and color-blind artist. Images of Therapy is dedicated to igniting the creative spark within everyone, guiding individuals on journeys of self-discovery and emotional well-being through artistic exploration.
