Charlotte Players Open 65th Season with Norm Foster’s Romantic Comedy Looking
Port Charlotte, FL – The Charlotte Players proudly open their landmark 65th Season with Looking, a warm and witty romantic comedy by acclaimed Canadian playwright Norm Foster. Performances will run September 11–21, 2025, at the Langdon Playhouse, located at 1182 Market Circle, Port Charlotte, FL, with evening shows at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 2:00 p.m. on September 14 and 21.
Directed by longtime Charlotte Players favorite Jenni Elliott, Looking explores the unpredictable path to romance through the lives of four middle-aged singles. When Val responds to Andy’s personal ad, the two meet for a blind date—each bringing a friend for backup. While sparks fail to fly between Val and Andy, their friends Matt and Nina find an unexpected connection. What unfolds is a fast-paced, heartfelt, and hilariously honest look at modern dating and second chances.
