"Real Art for Real People": Founders Launch the North Port Art Crawl to Redefine the Local Art Scene

NORTH PORTH, FL – On February 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a new movement in the local creative economy makes its debut. The North Port Art Crawl: February Founders Premier Edition marks the official expansion of a successful year-long "driveway pop-up" residency into a city-wide collective of home-based galleries and living exhibitions.

Founded by Michele Moore of the Bone Boutique, Images of Therapy and North Port Paint Posse and Carolina Lacerda of Onda Therapy Co., the North Port Art Crawl was born from a desire to make fine art sustainable for creators and accessible for residents. By removing the high overhead of traditional festivals—which often charge artists hundreds in fees and require exhausting travel—the North Port  Art Crawl allows artists to keep their price points reasonable while protecting the integrity of their work.

“We are bringing a high-art vibe to the neighborhood in a way that is attainable,” says founder Michele Moore. “A year ago, I started popping up in my driveway to take control of my business. Now, we are inviting the community into our home studios—our ‘living exhibitions’—to meet the artists in the very spaces where the magic happens.”

The February 21st event features two distinct "Founder Stops":

    • The Moore Museum (3729 Bobko Circle): A curated natural history and fine-art experience. Celebrating nearly one year of driveway exhibitions, this location features the Bone Boutique & Images of Therapy, and award-winning artwork in a professional museum atmosphere.

    • Onda Therapy Co. (2461 Saybrook Ave): Where art meets wellness. This sophisticated studio features the multi-generational Brazilian legacy of jeweler and artist Carolina Lacerda, blending body awareness with elegant fine jewelry and visual art.

The collective aims to grow every third Saturday of the month, vetted quarterly to ensure a "Gallery Aesthetic" remains at the heart of the movement.

    Real art for real people.
